WeWork Hong Kong COVID-19 policy – our commitment to health and safety

The health and safety of our members and global communities are our number one priority. That is why we continue to take steps to enhance our spaces and services—ensuring that you can continue working with peace of mind.

We remain in regular contact with our employees, members, and landlords regarding our health and safety measures. From increased sanitization to spaces modified for distancing, we have enhanced our health and safety standards for your well-being.

Increased sanitization

We have strengthened our on-site cleaning and disinfection including the following daily cleaning procedures:

1. Enhanced our cleaning measures based on health guidelines of Government requirements and members’ feedback

2. Partner up with an expert 3rd party cleaning service company to make certain disinfectant services are effective and follow local government guidelines

3. Enhanced cleaning schedule

Facilities frequently touched by users (e.g. lift buttons, handrails, door handle) are cleaned and sterilised every 2 hours
Meeting rooms, phone booths, toilets, pantries and hot desk tables are cleaned and sterilised every 2 hours (vary on different buildings)
Washroom areas are cleaned thoroughly with 1 in 99 diluted bleach (vary on buildings)
Clean the drink outlet of the coffee machine & water machine (every 1 hour)

4. Mugs and cups are removed and members bring their own cups (Disposable paper cups are prepared at the community bar)

5. Hand Sanitizer is provided on each floor pantry or lift landing or community bar

6. Each office garbage will be discarded once a day during evening time

Prioritizing personal space

By modifying shared spaces with staggered seating and buffer zones indicated by signage teams can practice healthy social distancing in the workplace.

1. Modify our space with physical distance if possible

2. Work closely with landlords and property managers to create and implement elevator guidelines and passenger limits in our locations

Behavioral signage

Friendly health and safety guideline  and capacity protocols will be reinforced with strategically-placed signage.

Reporting a COVID-19 case

If you or an employee has a confirmed case of COVID-19 in your space, please contact your local Community Team immediately. You can find their email on your WeWork GC app in the building guide. We ask that individuals with a confirmed case of COVID-19 do not return to their WeWork location until they have met local government criteria for returning to work.

Note: WeWork’s Covid-19 safety measures may vary by country and city. We will monitor local regulations and adapt our local policies and practices as necessary.
